scientific_name

A string value indicating the scientific name corresponding to the taxid stored into the taxid attribute.

Warning

This taxonomic information is just added to the sequence for the end-user

convenience and not used by other OBITools programs as taxonomic information. Only the taxonomic information included in the taxid attribute is used as taxonomic annotation.
