Introduction

Podis is a software which help to retrieve the correct postal routing and INSE code from a postal code.

Podis is a free software published under the term of licence GNU Affero General Public License.

Why Podis ?

In France, we use a postal code to specify an adress. A postal code can specify a citie, or a part of that citie. The problem is, there is several postal code available for a same adresse, and some adresse does not have a specific postal code, to correct that, the postal distribution uses INSE Code instead of postal code.

How to Contribute ?

In order to help you contributing to the database of Podis, we made another project, called Podis-Web. This is a Web Interface which permit you to enter data.
