The Mezeo Ready Cloud Storage Platform (CSP) API — which offers a programmable interface to the Cloud Storage Platform — allows applications to access storage in the cloud while keeping the actual storage of the objects opaque. The CSP API has enhanced and unique features that can make applications based on it more robust and deliver a more satisfying end-user solution.
The CSP API has been developed to meet the needs of a wide array of application developers, including, but not limited to, those focused on mobile development, archiving, and SaaS. Certain aspects of the API lend themselves well to each of the areas of development. The ability to do “ranged reads/writes” is ideal for archiving and backup. The ability to do pagination of objects through the API works extremely well for mobile development where bandwidth is limited.
