Installation instructions
*************************
On Windows, CodeChat is bundled with the `Enki `_; for these users, installing Enki_ will install CodeChat. See :doc:`../README` for more information on CodeChat itself. For other OSes or for manual installation:
* From the command line, execute :command:`pip install --upgrade CodeChat`.
* `Download `_ the source, unzip, then execute :command:`python setup.py install` from the command line.
* Clone the `CodeChat `_ repository, then execute :command:`python setup.py install` from the command line.
* For Linux users, see these `installation instructions `_. This version is usually older than the pip package (see above).
